And have no fear - you don’t need to be a professional model to get amazing photos! I’ll be there to help coach you on posing and to capture all your best angles.

 

 

what am I paying for?

i. THE VISION: Let’s collaborate! Feel free to toss out any and all “weird” ideas you may have - nothing is off-limits. If you’re not sure exactly what you want, don’t stress! From location selection to picking the best time of day to get that “wow” lighting, I’ll help guide you through your options so we can get the photos you’ve been dreaming of. During your photoshoot, I’ll tell you exactly where to stand, what to do with your hands, and I promise to coax out those authentic smiles (even if you’re “SO awkward in front of the camera”). My job is to make your photoshoot effortless - all you have to do is show up and have fun!

ii. THE EXPERTISE: I am, admittedly, a tad bit of a perfectionist. While many of my skills are self-taught, I wanted to make sure I had every technique and trick I could possibly have up my sleeve. This led me to pursue and acquire a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography, then further my studies by working alongside some of the best in the business. I’m proud to say that I’ve learned from numerous professionals during my career, including wedding photographer power-couple Tourine & Trevor Johnstone, and Trey Tomsik of Scenic Las Vegas Weddings. Throughout the years, I’ve photographed HUNDREDS of portrait sessions and weddings, and I’ve seen it all. So no matter what the day throws at us, whether it be inclement weather, a broken heel, or fussy toddlers, we’ll make it happen.

iii. THE PHOTOS: “Meticulous in my craft.” That is how I would describe myself. A photographer’s job continues long after the photoshoot ends - 5+ hours of post-processing goes into every single gallery I create. Each of my photographs are edited individually, by hand; I don’t use generic presets or one-click skin-smoothing techniques, which means each gallery is unique and every photo is flawless. I pride myself in all the details, from beautiful, natural colors to bright, white smiles - because everyone deserves to have photos that they’re proud to show off.

 The FAQs:

Q: Will you travel to other cities?

A: Absolutely! Other cities, other states, other countries - I’d go to outer space for a photoshoot if I could. I adore exploring new places, and there’s so much of this world I still have yet to see. Destination photography and elopements are my jam, and I’d love to be there to capture yours!

Q: Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?

A: You bet! We are all beautiful originals, and love is love. You can count me in.

Q: Can I bring my pets to my photoshoot?

A: In one word: YES! Pets are part of the family too, and they are more than welcome to any photoshoot (as long as the selected location is pet-friendly). I also offer photo sessions for just pets: dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, you name it! I have lots of experience with all kinds of critters and would be more than happy to assist in creating some wall-worthy shots of your furry (or scaley, or feathered) friends.

Q: Do you offer mini sessions?

A: Unfortunately, I do not. All my photoshoots are a minimum session time of one hour. This gives us plenty of time to get you guys comfortable in front of the camera (you’ll feel like seasoned pros by the end of your session!), and also gives us time to experiment with a lot of different poses and angles without feeling rushed. And I promise, an hour goes by quicker than you think! Like they say, time flies when you’re having fun.

Q: What happens if I misplace my photos?

A: NO WORRIES. Things happen. Every photoshoot includes a link to a custom gallery that houses all your full-resolution digital files that you can return to whenever! And if for some reason the INTERNET fails, I also keep a hard backup of every single photo I’ve ever taken - so whether it’s five weeks or ten years from now, if you need assistance accessing your photos again, just let me know!

Q: Do you offer any military or first responder discounts?

A: I sure do! As a small THANK YOU for your service, whether past or present, I offer 15% off all my portrait photoshoot packages for military and first responder personnel. Just send me a photo of your military or first responder ID when you book, and the discount will be applied to your total!
